Undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Presidente Prudente, 1974.
Current position:
Deputy Governor for Institutional Relations and Citizenship, since June 2012.
Positions held in the Central Bank:
Executive Secretary (May 2011 – June 2012).
Head of the Financial System Organization Department (Deorf) (1999 – 2011).
Deputy Head of the Financial System Organization Department (1995 – 1999).
Other activities:
Representative of Central Bank of Brazil in meetings with Regulatory International Bodies aiming to build the national laws regarding access to the Financial Sector, decreed by the National Monetary Council in Brazil, in accordance with the Basel Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision.
Member of an Inter-Ministerial Task Force on cooperativism.
Member of a Task Force on Microfinance within the Ministry of Finance, which resulted in the main rules on the matter.
Member of the Commission which managed and established agreements between Central Bank of Brazil and the following Institutions:
